In September we hosted a very successful reception for Oxford and Cambridge Freshers. To make it easier to connect and stay in touch with each other, Freshers were encouraged to sign up to the OCCB Freshers Wechat group.
Freshers and OCCB alumni mingled freely in the wonderful reception room at The China Club. We were then treated to an introduction of Cambridge and Oxford life by Florence Pei and Haining Liu respectively and some useful tips on making the best of your time there.
This was followed by a talk by our guest of honour, the Oxford Vice Chancellor, Professor Andrew Hamilton, who spoke warmly and inspiringly to the incoming students.
