The OCCB Garden Party 2015

Despite being overshadowed by a threat of rain in the early evening, the garden party was well attended with around two hundred registered guests.

We apologize for the curtailing of the event at 8.30pm contrary to the advertised time of 9pm: this was due to a last minute request passed on to us by the embassy staff. We hope that a good time was had by all, including those of you who joined us at the after party.

**This is adjacent the Embassy at 11 Guanghua Lu. It is NOT the hotel which somehow has the same address.

Come and join us for the highlight of the summer – and the OCCB’s signature event – a garden party at the garden of the Residence of the British Ambassador on Thursday 18th June 2015.

Come for the networking at this prestigious location, pleasant company, drinks and food.

Dress code: Cocktail/Business/smart casual  (NO JEANS NOR SHORTS NOR TRAINERS!)

Please bring your passport/ID card, without which admission is not possible.

Tickets
Cost: 200RMB for Oxford and Cambridge alumni, 250RMB for their personal guests (only two guests per member are allowed) – price includes canapes and Pimms, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.

Refunds cannot be made in the event that you decide you cannnot attend.

Please note that tickets are non-transferable for security reasons. This means that you must register the official name of yourself and all guests, i.e. as shown on their photo ID. Otherwise you will be refused admittance.

Please note that ticket sales can only be handled via Yoopay; cash cannot be accepted on the door and there will be strictly no walk-ins.

Ticket sales will close on June 17th or earlier if tickets have already sold out. This is in order to adhere to the embassy security requirements; therefore it will not be possible to purchase tickets after this deadline.

Please be advised that tickets are limited and this event sells out every year.
